Exploring the unconscious
A holistic approach to healing
Psychological struggles can be a sign that something within you longs to be seen, heard, and healed. In the analytical therapy, we explore your inner life and invite your unconscious to speak. The therapy mainly consists of conversations, complemented by methods such as dream analysis, active imagination, and word association to give the unconscious a voice. During these conversations, unconscious patterns may gradually become clear, which can have a deeply healing and transformative effect.
A warm and gentle atmosphere
During the analytical therapy sessions, I create a warm and safe atmosphere in which we gently explore whatever is troubling you. What is this trying to tell you on a deeper level? These sessions can activate a profound process of healing, transformation, and self-development, a proces that is already slumbering within you now.

Therapy
Analytical therapy
Analytical therapy is centered on exploring the deeper layers of the unconscious mind. Beneath the surface, an entire inner world awaits discovery. We start with whatever is troubling you, and together we gently unfold it at a pace that feels right for you, allowing a deep process of personal development to activate.
Methods to access the inner world
The sessions primarily consist of conversational therapy. In order to connect with the unconscious, I also use methods such as dream analysis, active imagination, and word associations. My approach is rooted in the Jungian perspective. Key principles of Jungian psychology include bringing the unconscious into the realm of awareness and becoming who you truly and most authentically are. In terms of Jungian psychology this process is called the individuation process.
I work from a gentle and supportive approach, tailoring the therapy to your unique process.
The therapy is not covered by health insurance.
The introductory meeting is free.

"Depression is like a woman in black. If she turns up, don't shoo her away. Invite her in, offer her a seat, treat her like a guest and listen to what she wants to say," - Carl Jung

Dream analysis as a portal to the unconscious
Dreams can be a wonderful way to get information from the unconscious. Do you dream often, or only rarely? Do you remember your dreams, or not at all? Perhaps you remember only fragments. Are your dreams vivid or kind of fuzzy? Maybe you have a recurring dream?
Dreams contain lots of information from the unconscious part of the psyche. When a dream is approached as a message from the unconscious and explored in therapy, insights can arise from within. Keeping a dream journal can be a fun way to connect more deeply with your dream life.

The psychology of Carl Jung
Finding your inner compass
According to the philosophy of Carl Jung, the goal of life is becoming who you truly are on the inside. He named this process of self-realisation the individiduationprocess.
You might feel disconnected from your true Self. Perhaps your authentic Self is hidden beneath childhood pain, unconscious patterns, expectations of others, or something totally different. In therapy, we gently explore the layers that cover your true Self, creating room from who you truly are at your core to rise up.
"Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes" - Carl Jung
Carl Gustav Jung
Carl Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist and one of the founders of Analytical Psychology. He focused on the deeper layers of life and developed various techniques to access the unconscious mind. At the heart of Jung’s work was the connection with the Soul.
